Speaker Profile

Rob has over 25 years industry experience and currently leads the Worley Offshore Energy (formerly Intecsea) business in the ANZ region. As Portfolio Director, he is responsible for setting the strategy and managing the commercial and operational aspects of delivering Industry Leading Engineering services to the Offshore Sector across the full project life-cycle from concept to detail design and operations. Prior to joining Worley, Rob was VP AsiaPacific and Global CCUS Segment Lead for io consulting a joint venture between Baker Hughes and McDermott focussed on early development planning. During his nearly 7 years with io, he led the transition of the regional business into the Energy Transition Sector delivering techno-economic projects associated with the full value chain of CCUS, clean fuels, long duration energy storage and geothermal developments.
Rob has worked for operators, engineering companies, EPC contractors and consultants on projects across the globe including the North Sea, Africa, India, South East Asia and Australia. Rob sits on the Offshore Project Safe (OPS) Committee and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Curtin University.
