COVID-19: Information for our Customers

We understand the importance of events like ours in supporting business and economic growth, and we are going above and beyond to be expo ready when the time is right.
Exhibitor and attendee safety always has been, and always will be, our top priority. Planning is constantly underway to ensure that AOG Energy and all our future exhibitions are delivered in a safe and controlled environment, within COVID-19 government guidelines.

What is AOG Energy?
Formally known as the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference, AOG Energy is the premier oil, gas and energy event in Australia. Held annually in Perth, Western Australia – AOG Energy brings together the entire supply chain for a showcase of local opportunities and future capabilities.
Visitors to AOG Energy can explore products and solutions spanning from New Energy, Drilling & Completions, Subsea & Marine, Automation & Digital Technology, Asset Integrity and Health & Safety.

Due COVID-19, Australian international borders remain closed leading into the 2021 event. As such, 2021 will host a two-day showcase of local suppliers and operators who will demonstrate the resilience and capabilities that the local market offers. AOG Energy will return to a three-day format in 2022.

Where is AOG Energy being held?
AOG Energy will be held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, located at 21 Mounts Bay Rd, Perth.
Who can attend?
AOG Energy is a business event and not open to the public. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or the entrance. We suggest you bring along a business card, invoice or company documentation along with personal identification such as a drivers licence or passport. Students enrolled in a relevant course at a tertiary level may attend the show if they have an appropriate student identity card.
Is AOG Energy free to attend?
Visitors need to pre-register online to attend AOG Energy free of charge.
I am a student, am I able to attend?
Tertiary students and graduates are welcome to attend AOG Energy. Please bring your student identity card.
Can I bring children?
Persons under the age of 16 are not permitted to attend the exhibition due to the nature of some of the exhibits on display. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to under 16s.
How do I get to the PCEC?

Is there car parking available?

The car park located at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre fills up quickly during the 2 days of AOG Energy, below are some alternatives:
Pre-book with Wilson Parking, the car park with direct footbridge access to PCEC is Westralia Square on 141 St Georges Tce. For bookings visit Wilson Parking.

Am I allowed to visit AOG Energy more than once?
Yes, once registered you are welcome to visit the show as many times as you like. Please keep hold of your registration badge for re-entry.
Do I need a visa for Australia?
Most visitors will require a Visa to enter Australia. Applications need to be made well in advance at the Australian Consulate in your own country or in some cases can be made online. For more information visit the Department of Home Affairs website.
Can you provide me with an invitation letter so I can apply for a visitor visa?
It is not our company policy to provide invitation letters to visitors wishing to attend our shows. For more information on what to do you are best to visit the Department of Home Affairs website.

Registration
How do I register to attend the event?
Registration for AOG Energy 2021 will open in late 2020.
What happens when I register?
Once you register online you will receive a confirmation email which will contain a link to download and print your badge. The badge gives you free entry to the exhibition on all show days.
I'm having trouble registering online - who can help me?

What happens if I don't have my badge before the show or forget to bring it with me?
Replacement badges can be collected at the registration counter.
Can you resend my confirmation?
To have your confirmation email resent please login to the registration system using your email and password (set up during initial registration) and request a resend.
Can you resend my invoice?
You can request an invoice to be resent by contacting aog@divcom.net.au
Exhibitors & Sponsors
I’m an exhibitor/and or sponsor and have paid for a three day show, can I get a refund?
The rate of exhibiting at a two-day show has been reduced and we are committed to offering you peace of mind via a couple of options:
- Your existing booking remains however your Client Manager will be in contact with you regarding further promotional opportunities as a result of the new exhibiting rate.
- If you are unable to enter WA due to travel restrictions your Client Manager will discuss transferring your commitment towards the 2022 event.
Your Client Manager will work with you on the most suitable option for your business.
I’m an international/interstate exhibitor, what are my options?
As international and state borders are likely to remain closed into the new year, we are offering our international and interstate exhibitors the ability to transfer their existing credit towards the below:
- The option to credit or part credit any current deposits to transfer your commitment towards the 2022 event
- Credit towards digital and virtual opportunities to connect with your target audience
Due to the unprecedented nature of the situation, we ask for your patience as we work through the timing and details of these processes.
Events
How do I buy tickets to an event?
To purchase networking event tickets visit the AOG Energy Registration page and simply select and pay for the events you would like to attend. A confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm your booking.
What events are on during AOG Energy?

Can I cancel my event booking?
No refunds will be issued for networking events. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation. All “no shows” will be charged the full amount. Substitutions may be made at any time without penalty.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for most events and on the exhibition floor is business casual. Business uniforms are acceptable at all events.
