Rafael Huguenin

With 15 years oil and gas experience, Rafael has started his career as field engineer Offshore in Brazil. He has then moved to a subsea systems applications engineering role in Norway. Rafael has been instrumental in the early design and negotiation of various challenging subsea EPC projects such as Subsea Boosting, Multiphase Compression and Separation Systems. On his return to Brazil, he was responsible for the Subsea Processing activities in Latin America. Working closely with the Subsea Production and Flow Assurance teams he actively supported the integration between the different groups, driving innovation and optimization regionally. Since relocating permanently to Australia in 2015, Rafael has been focusing in supporting operators with their asset integrity and reliability and subsea development challenges APAC clients. Rafael holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a MBA in Business Management from IBMEC.
