Synopsis - Rio Tinto’s 21 mines and ports were using a variety of defect tracking systems across the Pilbara. A tracking system, called the Data Collection Tool (DCT), was designed and developed to create a central view of the health of assets. The session will cover on the function of the DCT and importance of raising notifications and subsequent data entry into the tool. Plus, a focus on integration with SAP and other data management software to ensure reporting drives strategic and tactical maintenance decisions.
