Speaker Profile

Mark graduated with a Masters in Oceanography from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom in 2004. He started his career in the marine survey industry in 2005 with Fugro in the United Kingdom, before emigrating to Australia in 2012 to take a role with Fugro in Perth.

During his time at Fugro, Mark was responsible for managing geophysical and hydrographic contracts for the major oil and gas operators, in addition to project managing the search for missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 between 2014 and 2017.

In 2018, Mark joined Guardian Geomatics, where he provided support services to Ocean Infinity, operating the largest global fleet of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV)

In 2021 Mark joined Kongsberg, and started his role as Sales Manager for Uncrewed Platforms in Asia Pacific in May 2022
