Lachlan Stammers is the Offshore Wind Project Manager for Navantia’s Seanergies division. Lachlan has spent the past 10 years working in the commercial and Defence maritime industries and has been with Navantia Australia for the past 4 years. Lachlan has worked on numerous naval design sustainment projects, leaving his mark on just about every class of Royal Australian Navy vessel in the process. After spending the majority of his career in the Defence sector, he has recently crossed over to Navantia’s green energies division (Seanergies), to apply his skills and experience to the emerging Australian offshore wind industry. Leveraging his background in mechanical engineering and in-depth understanding of maritime design and production techniques, Lachlan’s appointment was a natural fit to lead Navantia Seanergies’ ambitions to supply fixed and floating offshore wind foundations to the Australian market.
