Speaker Profile

James Keating is a Principal Marine Scientist with Hydrobiology with over 15 years’ experience in environmental monitoring, EIA and approvals; including offshore renewables, ports, mining, oil & gas, commercial fishing and construction. James holds a PhD in Marine Ecology and is an active member of PIANC, Subsea Energy Australia, the Australian Marine Science Association and the Australian Society for Fish Biology. In 2023, James delivered lectures on offshore renewables to UWA and at AOG. He hopes to share his passion to leverage global insights and local expertise to meet the environmental challenges with robust, science and engineering.
