Iain Wylie is Product Manager at Oceaneering with a multidisciplinary background covering Aerospace, Nuclear, Mechanical, Subsea, and Systems engineering with experience as an ROV pilot, design engineer, and project manager. He believes engineering is a lifestyle and is insatiably curious seeking new knowledge and problems to solve. He is co-chair of Engineers Australia Hydrocarbons and Energy Transition Group, and on the Society of Underwater Technology, and Subsea Innovation Cluster Australia Committees. In his various roles he’s looking at how to enable the energy transition through decarbonisation alongside developing innovations to speed up the roll out of new low carbon energy sources.
