Speaker Profile

Chris joined Curtin University in 2013 as Professor of Petroleum Geoscience. Prior to that he completed his BSc and PhD at the University of Oxford and spent four years working for Shell in the Netherlands as an Exploration Geologist before moving to Royal Holloway, part of the University of London, where he ran a successful masters programme and was involved in many initiatives to address the Knowledge Gap that was a significant concern in the early 2000's. He is now a semi-retired Emeritus Professor.
