Speaker Profile

Alex is a Director of 2H Offshore based in their London office. As well as being jointly responsible for all of 2H’s European offices, he is currently responsible for 2H's UK floating wind and decarbonisation activities. Alex has over 20 years of experience in engineering of subsea equipment, in particular in the design of deepwater riser and umbilical systems for energy production. Over the last 5 years Alex has a changed focus onto renewable and decarbonisation technologies, and is now applying his engineering expertise to support the energy transition. As a technical authority, he has been involved in both floating wind technology initiatives for power cables, but also in the engineering or mooring, anchor and power cable systems for a number of floating wind farms in the UK and France.
