ABOUT THE EVENT
The Timor-Leste Government’s recent acquisition of ConocoPhillips 30% and Shell’s 26% stake in the Sunrise field, coupled with the signing of the treaty with Australia establishing maritime boundaries, has reignited discussion over the future development of this giant gas field. In October 3rd, 2019, the Government of Timor-Leste has also launched the Second Licensing Round by announcing a total of 18 new blocks for a public tender.
The breakfast is a morning of conversation around the future of the Greater Sunrise field and new petroleum explorations opportunities in Timor-Leste through the Timor-Leste Second Licensing Round.
