To assist in promoting AOG we would like a quote from you, which we may use in various marketing and publicity. By providing a quote you are consenting to AOG referencing the quote along with your name and organisation. The quote may be around your presentation, your participation in the program, AOG exhibition, your organisation’s involvement in AOG, the industry, or something you are keen to experience at AOG.

Publicity

We may ask some speakers to be available for media activity prior to and during the Conference. If chosen for publicity/media you will be notified by our PR agency.

For Your Information

Registration for AOG 2019 is free for all attendees. Your name badge must be picked up from the Registration desk upon arrival at the event.

Information on how to purchase tickets for networking events will be provided in the coming weeks.

The confirmed Conference program will be available mid-December. Further details on your presentation and session, including how to submit your PowerPoint presentation will be provided closer to the event.

Microsoft PowerPoint should be in 16:9 Widescreen format. Each theatre will have a data projector, screen, lectern with microphone, lapel microphone, speaker sound system, and a PC computer or laptop. Please note: There will NOT be a speaker preparation room for the 2019 program. Each theatre will have a dedicated audio visual technician available to assist you.

Presenters are responsible for their own expenses, including travel, accommodation and incidentals.

If you are unable to attend please endeavor to find a replacement speaker to present on your behalf; and notify Jono Bradford aog@divevents.com.au with the details. In the event of cancellation please notify Jono as soon as possible.

For the second year, AOG’s free app will is available to help delegates get the most out of the conference and exhibition. The app allows users to favourite education sessions, create daily schedules, connect with speakers like yourself and more even rate your sessions. The app is designed to help you receive instant feedback on your sessions and help session attendees get more out each presentation.

Please download the app, by searching ‘AOG 2019’ in your app store and create a profile.

We would also be grateful if you could please promote the app at the start and end of your sessions. Below is a sample script of the kind of ‘plug’ we ask that you include into your presentations:

Before your presentation:

“I would recommend before we start this session that everyone downloads the new, free-to-download AOG 2019 app, which is currently available via the Apple ‘App Store’ and Google ‘Play Store’ depending on your device. Use the search term ‘AOG 2019’ to find the app. The app allows you to connect and network with peers in the oil and gas industry at this year’s event and plan your day by selecting which sessions you want to attend. And if you’re on social media don’t forget to use the hashtag #AOG2019”

At the close of your presentation:

“Just a reminder – It’s free to download the AOG 2019 app. You can rate this session and also access twitter, so feel free to share your insights using our hashtag #AOG2019.”
