Sabine Powell’s career spans 27 years, with her expertise covering offshore inspection, maintenance and repair, subsea pipelines and metocean engineering. Sabine graduated with an MSc in Ocean and Offshore Engineering in France in 1994, beginning her career as a coastal engineer in Plymouth, UK. In 1997 Sabine moved to Perth joining RPS as a metocean engineer. In 2006 Sabine joined Subsea 7 in Paris as a senior pipeline engineer. In 2007 Sabine joined Wood Australia as a lead pipeline engineer before becoming JP Kenny Small Project Group Manager in 2012. In 2014 Sabine joined Neptune Marine Services as Engineering Manager where she was responsible for Neptune’s Subsea Engineering services. Following MMA Offshore’s acquisition of Neptune, in 2020 Sabine was promoted to GM Technical Services within the Subsea Services team. She currently leads MMA’s team of engineers and surveyors, who engineer and plan subsea services campaigns, as well as process and compile inspection and survey data.
