Olav Brakstad

Mr. Olav Brakstad is educated within electronics and instrumentation. Mr. Brakstad started his professional career by establishing his own consultancy company. He worked several years as a systems engineer for long and short wave radio systems. He worked in the marine electronics industry from 1996 to 1999 when he joined ClampOn. He has worked in Sales right from the start, but also spent some time in Service as part of his training. Initially he was area representative for Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, and after a while covered Asia and the Pacific. He became Sales Manager in 2008. Olav finds working in a global industry like the Energy industry exciting, particularly being part of the development and sale of ClampOn’s new technology and products.
During his many years in ClampOn, Mr. Brakstad has gained firsthand experience and extensive knowledge on acoustic monitoring systems
