Beltz Mining
Nkandu Beltz describes herself as a serial entrepreneur, disruptor, social change activist, inspirational speaker, published author, and philanthropist.
She founded Beltz Mining in 2019, and through its Zambian-registered subsidiary Kopano Mineral Resources Limited, she secured various mineral exploration rights of some of the greatest repositories of copper the world has ever seen.
As an emerging entrepreneur in the mining, Nkandu has committed herself to championing socio-economic causes that positively impact the communities in which she works. As a philanthropist, she advocates for the empowerment of marginalized groups through skills and personal development.
She gives voice to matters relating such as: identifying opportunities and challenges for women in the minerals sector, navigating a male-dominated industry as an emerging female entrepreneur in mining, identifying the role of the community in mining for development, as well as supplying to and investing in Zambia’s mining industry.
Nkandu uses her expertise and lived experiences as an entrepreneur to secure bilateral investments and continues to lobby for more through regional and international engagement between key stakeholders in the value chain. As a participant, she networks with notable industry influencers to establish foundations for possible future collaborations.
Ms Beltz strongly believes that the opportunities that lie in resource investments are key to solving Africa’s socio-economic challenges.
