Haura Hussaini

Chevron

Haura has completed a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering (Honours) and Masters in Electrical Engineering and is currently working as an I&C Engineer at Chevron.

Haura is proactively involved with initiatives and drives that address diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging challenges both internally to Chevron and externally within the energy industry.
She is a passionate STEM advocate with a focused effort in inspiring and encouraging more females to follow STEM pathways by partaking in educational outreach programs and mentoring young women in STEM. Some of her involvements include mentoring with Energy Club Next generation program, Engineers Australia EngTalk Program, IT Takes a Spark STEM Conference, Innovators' Tea Party and ABCN through a Chevron partnership.

Her endeavors in bridging the diversity gap in the Energy Industry spans beyond mentoring the next generation, as a young professional she recognizes her role in shaping the future of the energy industry by leveraging her current roles as the chair of Engineers Australia Hydrocarbons and Energy Transition Group and Energy Club of WA Young Professionals Committee member.
