Britta is a Professor at the University of Western Australia, specialising in offshore geotechnical engineering with a decade of experience in offshore wind. Britta has close ties with industry through collaborative research, joint industry projects and active membership in international guideline development. Britta is the 2020 John Booker medal recipient, awarded by the Australian Academy of Science, for her contributions to the development of practical predictive methods for soil-structure interaction problems, grounded in sound geotechnical science. Britta is excited to support the offshore wind industry in tackling challenges related to Australian conditions.
