Event Safety Guidelines

AOG Energy is dedicated to ensuring our attendees can do business in a COVID-safe environment as we prepare for our 2021 show.

We understand the importance of events like AOG Energy to support business and economic growth. We’re delivering an innovative COVID-safe event with a strong focus on ensuring the safety of exhibitors and attendees to facilitate all-important face-to-face connections. We’re working closely with the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre and State Government to ensure the event is delivered within all guidelines and restrictions. This means the event will look slightly different from previous years.

We’re leveraging new technology and innovation to deliver an event experience which is better suited to the current climate we’re all facing. This includes a range of protective measures to ensure AOG Energy is a safe and controlled environment to do business within COVID-19 guidelines:

  • Attendees must preregister online prior to the event and consent to the regulations and data collection required for contact tracing.
  • QR code scanning will minimise contact at registration points.
  • We encourage a no contact policy for all attendees, staff, and exhibition elements at the stands through a touchless/contactless strategy.
  • Monitoring solutions will offer real-time data on occupancy.
  • Queue management and crowd control mechanisms will guide entry, visitor flows and exit. The entire journey of attendees will be permanently monitored.
  • Technology like real-time control of spaces and flexible digital signage will support implementation and control.
  • Rigorous cleaning and sanitisation for all areas and customer touch points will ensure they are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
  • Hand sanitiser stations will be at all entry points.
  • Automated, regular public announcements will communicate distancing and attendance expectations.
  • Security marshalls will maintain social distancing and attendance guidelines.
  • Modification of exhibitor environment ensures stands are adapted to minimise congestion and close contact.
  • Physical and digital signage will deliver key messages.
  • Floor decals and physical distancing reference points will be in key areas.
  • Employees and providers will undergo strict training for the specific health and safety measures.
