New initiatives from the LNG Jobs Taskforce to be outlined at AOG 2020

The Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) is on again in Perth next year, with the first set of initiatives from the LNG Jobs Taskforce to be announced.

The event, which runs from 11-13 March 2020 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, is the largest of its kind in Australia.

With WA leading the nation as Australia’s biggest gas exporter, AOG helps promote Perth as an energy hub that brings together local, national and international companies and suppliers.

The event is also a premier networking forum for industry professionals to meet decision-making service providers, engineers, technical professionals and suppliers.

The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) is again a proud sponsor of AOG.

WA Industry Link and AMC Management (WA) Pty Ltd will be exhibiting at the AOG.

As WA continues its emergence as an LNG Hub for the Asia Pacific, the next stage of the LNG Jobs Taskforce will be front and centre at the event.

During AOG 2018, the Premier Mark McGowan announced the creation of an LNG Jobs Taskforce, to enhance WA’s capability as an LNG centre of excellence.

The growth of Western Australia as an LNG hub is also expected to support thousands of new local jobs.

The LNG Jobs Taskforce release of Operator Forward Work Plans will take place at AOG, via Operator Briefing sessions presented by Woodside Energy, Chevron Australia, Shell Australia and Santos. AOG attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with these operators.

With the theme of ‘Forward Together’, AOG 2020 is an ideal platform for this Operator-Supply chain collaboration.
